Queensland’s transition to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) will be officially completed on 1 October 2020, when NDIS Full Scheme arrangements take effect.
The NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commissioner, Mr Graeme Head AO, has today released the report from the independent review commissioned by the Commissioner in response to the tragic death of National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participant, Ms Ann-Marie Smith, in South Australia. The ‘Robertson Review’ was conducted by former Federal Court Judge, the Hon Alan Robertson SC.
The Australian Government is investing $64.9 million in grants to 138 organisations in the disability sector to build the capacity of Australians with disability to participate in and contribute to the community.
