Tomorrow marks the third anniversary of the National Apology for Victims and Survivors of Institutional Child Sexual Abuse. In honour, the Morrison Government announced that the Blue Knot Foundation, along with its key consortium partners the Australian Childhood Foundation and The Healing Foundation, would establish and deliver the National Centre for the Prevention of Child Sexual Abuse.
Eligible NDIS providers in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) and Western Australia (WA) will join those in New South Wales, the Northern Territory and Victoria in being able to claim a one-off payment from the NDIA for support workers to receive their COVID-19 vaccination.
From Tuesday the Morrison Government will provide women leaving a violent relationship access to a one-off payment of up to $5,000 to help them establish a life free of violence.
